Three months' year-on-year change in turnover in services (TOL 2008)

Among the service industries, turnover grew fastest in administrative and support service enterprises, whose turnover increased by 15 per cent from one year ago. An over ten per cent growth was also recorded in the turnover of transportation and storage, and professional, scientific and technical activities. The growth was slowest in other service activities and in information and communication.

As of the beginning of 2011, the responding instructions of the sales inquiry have been clarified so that as a rule the concept of turnover in the sales inquiry conforms with the Bookkeeping Act. However, the new instructions have no significant impact on the produced turnover indices. For further in-formation about the revised instructions, please see Revisions in these statistics.
