We maintain and publish the national statistical service’s classification recommendations. Many of them are based on international standards. By using common classifications statistical data from different times and areas can be more easily compared.

Further information about statistical classifications

In addition to the classification recommendations, the service also contains other classifications required by individual sets of statistics or registers and code lists used when publishing statistical data.
