Two-figure category of offences
The Two-figure category of offences is used in the statistics prosecutions, sentences and punishments. The two-figure category of offences is produced and maintained at Statistics Finland.
The sub-categories of the sexual offences group were renewed as a result of the amendment to Chapter 20 of the Criminal Code (723/2022). New categories 23 to 27 in force starting from 2023 were added to the classification. Old categories 20 to 22 remain in force for offences according to the old act.
