Election map service
The election results of the Municipal elections of autumn 2000 are as thematic maps on the Internet. With the election map application you can view freely the election results by area on the Internet as hundreds of thematic maps and dozens of statistical tables. You can also transfer statistical tables to your own system.
If you want, you can get election maps from the Internet application as publishable map presentations that you can print or transfer to your system as Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and Post Script files. These thematic map presentations you can obtain by acquiring a user code subject to a charge.
Thematic maps on the election results can also be ordered as conventional hard copies and transparencies.

The thematic maps of the election map application can be browsed by everybody. In addition to this, all the thematic maps of the application can be converted into publishable PostScript or Abode Acrobat (PDF) printouts. The election map application makes the conversion and the map set-up automatically. Printouts are obtainable in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The price of the user code for one establishment is FIM 2,800 (+VAT 22%), giving unlimited access to transferring and printing PDF and PostScript printout files.

In addition to maps, the results can also be viewed as statistical tables that you can transfer free of charge to your system as ASCII files.
The information in the election maps is at the moment based on the results of the national official election system. The confirmed results of the elections will be updated after the official results of all municipalities have been entered in the national official election system.
In addition to Finnish, the election maps and statistical tables can be viewed in Swedish and English. The PostScript and PDF printouts are also available in three languages.
