Finnish Parliamentary Elections 1995Statistics Finland produces statistics on the Parliamentary Elections as well as on other elections.The publication, prepared by Statistics Finland just hours after the polls closed, contains data on the number and share of votes cast for each party by municipality and constituency. The results have been analysed by means of maps, and the proportion of votes cast for the major parties has been studied in relation to the sex and income structure, as well as the unemployment level, of different voting districts. In addition the publication includes data on the sex, average income, educational level and main type of activity of the candidates. In Internet Statistics Finland publishes the press release and parts of the publication.
