Continuing Vocational Training Survey - CVTS2

The data in these statistics derive from the joint European Continuing Vocational Training Survey project, implemented in Finland by Statistics Finland and largely funded by the Commission of the European Union. The survey was conducted simultaneously, following an identical design and using uniform data collecting tools in all 15 Member States of the European Union, in the nine countries having applied for Community membership, and in Norway.

The survey collected information about the training enterprises had organised for their employees in the year 1999. The obtained data portray the numbers and proportions of enterprises having provided personnel training and those of their staff having participated in such training, as well as the numbers and contents of the provided training days and the costs of such training to enterprises. The data were collected in 2000 and the results depict the training activities of enterprises in the year 1999.
