Loans granted totalled EUR 1,186 million and guarantees EUR 2,110 million. Business subsidies were received by 18,889 enterprises.

- Most subsidies were allocated to research, development and innovation activity, internationalisation and business activity in 2023.
- Direct business subsidies were granted most to the metal industry and to transportation and storage.
- Compared to the previous year, direct subsidies granted decreased by 41 per cent and subsidies paid by 44 per cent. The number of guarantees increased by 23 per cent.
