Overnight stays at accommodation establishments increased by nearly 6 per cent in October

The total number of overnight stays at Finnish accommodation establishments was 1.4 million in October 2010, which was close on six per cent up on one year previously. The number of nights spent by domestic tourists was just under 1.1 million, up by six per cent from one year back. Nearly 300,000 overnight stays were recorded for foreign tourists. The number was four per cent higher than in October 2009.
