Building costs grew by 0.8 per cent year-on-year in February

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.8 per cent higher in February 2014 than in February of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.4 per cent, the prices of materials grew by 0.3 per cent, and those of other inputs increased by 1.8 per cent from one year ago.

From January to February, the total index of building costs remained unchanged. The prices of labour inputs grew by 0.2 per cent, the prices of materials contracted by 0.2 per cent and those of other inputs went up by 0.6 per cent.
