Description
The statistics give information on the number and forest land area of forest property entities and forest holdings owned by private persons and other groups. Forest property entity refers to all forest holdings of the same owner or owners and a forest property entity is recorded for the region of the owner’s permanent place of residence. Forest holding consist of forest property entities located in the region of the owner and these holdings are recorded for the region in which they are located. The statistics are compiled for the calendar year and are presented by regions, by the form of ownership and size classification based on forest land area.
