Inventory inquiry

The inventory inquiry collects quarterly data on the development of enterprises' goods warehouses. Data are collected from enterprises in manufacturing and trade industries with the most significant value of inventories and turnover. The inquiry comprises approximately 500 enterprises. 

The data collected in the inquiry are used to compile the change item in inventories of quarterly national accounts.

The data are used in compiling of quarterly national accounts. Data on enterprises' inventories are used in all EU countries for the calculation of quarterly GDP. The inquiry data are important when assessing the picture of the economic situation on a national level.

If your enterprise has received an email from us, you can follow the instructions there. It is also possible to answer using a mobile phone or tablet. You can view the questions by means of the instructions for responding available in the help file. More detailed instructions for responding are given on the web form. 

You can supplement and change the data you have reported on the form later.
