Statistics Finland is Finland's national statistical institute that produces impartial statistics on Finnish society. Our task is to process data accumulated from various data sources into statistics to support decision-making and for the use of citizens, researchers and others needing data.
The publications of national accounts are collected under one set of statistics in the spring when the statistics on quarterly and annual national accounts are combined together. This will make it easier to find and understand data, although the contents remain unchanged.
The structure of the PX files in the statistical databases will be renewed during June. The change affects queries made in the PxWeb API interface.
Statistics Finland will move to new office premises in the Pasila Government Agency Centre in February 2026. Starting from 16 February 2026, the agency's new visiting address will be Opastinsilta 12, Helsinki. The move is part of Statistics Finland's adjustment measures to meet pressures to cut down government spending.
