The data of the statistics on goods transport by road for the first and second quarters of 2022 were corrected on 13 December 2022 as concerns vehicle mileage and transport performance.

According to Statistics Finland's data, a total of 54 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorries in domestic road transport in the second quarter of 2022. Compared with the previous year, the volume of transported goods decreased by 11 per cent. The transport performance grew by one fifth and amounted to 7.3 billion tonne-kilometres.
