Volume of goods transported by lorries grew slightly in the third quarter of 2022

According to Statistics Finland, a total of 71 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorries in domestic road transport in the third quarter of 2022. Compared to the previous year, the volume of transported goods grew by three per cent. The transport performance remained on level with the previous year and amounted to 7.7 billion tonne-kilometres.
