release | Statistics on offences and coercive measures 2022, 2nd quarterAccording to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, a total of 216,900 offences against the Criminal Code were recorded by the police, customs and border guard during January to June 2022. This is 6.6 per cent fewer than in January to June 2021. The recorded number of assaults was 17,900 and that of sexual offences 2,800.
