Number of enterprise closures grew by 22 per cent in the first quarter of 2022 from one year ago

According to Statistics Finland, there were 10,867 enterprise closures in the first quarter of 2022. During the quarter, the number of enterprise closures grew by 22 per cent year-on-year. At the same time, enterprise openings numbered 11,665. In the first quarter of 2022, the number of enterprise openings was eight per cent lower than one year previously.
