According to Statistics Finland, 269 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in October 2023, which is 53 more than in the corresponding period one year earlier. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,164, which is 300 staff-years more than in October 2022.
