Cubic volume of granted building permits went down by over one third in October to December 2022 from one year previously

According to Statistics Finland, building permits for newbuilding were granted for a total of 6.9 million cubic metres in October to December 2022, which was 35 per cent less than one year ago. At the same time, more building projects were started, in total 8.4 million cubic metres. The cubic volume of building projects started decreased by 24 per cent from one year ago.
