Number of enterprise closures decreased by 1.5 per cent in the last quarter of 2022 from the year before

According to Statistics Finland, there were 8,137 enterprise closures in the last quarter of 2022. During the quarter, the number of enterprise closures increased by 1.5 per cent from the previous year. At the same time, enterprise openings numbered 8,964. In the last quarter of 2022, the number of enterprise openings was 0.3 per cent lower than one year previously.
