Volume of goods transported by lorries dropped in the first quarter of 2023

According to Statistics Finland, a total of 49 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorries in domestic road transport in the first quarter of 2023. Compared to the previous year, the volume of transported goods dropped by 15 per cent. The transport performance increased by two per cent and was 7.3 billion tonne-kilometers.
