According to Statistics Finland, a total of 163,700 students attended university education leading to a degree in 2022. The number of students increased by 2.6 per cent from the previous year. New students numbered 32,600. The number of new students remained unchanged from the previous year. A total of 30,800 degrees were completed in 2022. The figure was 1.7 per cent lower than one year before.
