Volume of goods transported by lorries increased 16 per cent in the last quarter of 2024

According to Statistics Finland, in the last quarter of 2024, a total of 62 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorries in domestic road transport. The volume of goods transported increased by 16 % compared to the previous year. The transport volume increased by 22 % to 6.4 billion tonne-kilometres.
