Key selections

  • In November 2024, oil products as well as coal and coke were transported most in domestic waterborne traffic.
  • The fell in the volume of transport was mostly caused by decreased transport of timber.
  • In terms of timber transport, preliminary data are supplemented at the end of the statistical reference year, which will have an effect especially on the transport volumes of inland waters.
  • No transport was registered through the Saimaa Canal in November.
