Employment service statistics: Development and Administrative Services Centre (KEHA centre) for ELY centres will be responsible for Employment Service Statistics starting from 1 March 2025
Date of change:Information about the change
Starting from the data for January 2025, the production of the Employment Service Statistics was transferred to the KEHA Centre from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The Employment Service Statistics continue to contain data on registered jobseekers and job vacancies reported by employers, as well as on labour policy services aimed to advance the employment of jobseekers.
The majority of jobseekers are unemployed, who must register themselves as jobseekers in order to receive unemployment benefits. The KEHA Centre produces comprehensive statistics on unemployment and in addition to unemployed jobseekers, it reports monthly the number of job vacancies and the number of persons in different services with numerous different classifications and variables.
The data are published monthly in the KEHA Centre’s Employment Bulletin and in the statistical database of the Employment Service Statistics.
Further information about the change is available on the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment's Employment Bulletin and Employment Service Statistics pages.
