Collection of data on establishments from wellbeing services counties

Statistics Finland's Business Register collects data on the establishments of welfare areas and welfare associations, their operations, industries, personnel and location.

The inquiry concerns the services and functions of those establishments that can be defined as establishments in accordance with the industry.

The establishment is identified by an establishment code provided by Statistics Finland. Establishment information includes the establishment's name, address, industry, start and end dates, and work input.

The data is used to maintain the Business Register and to compile statistics describing the structures and development of social activities, services and workplaces. The data is also utilized in the preparation of national accounts and to support social decision-making.

The inquiry includes all wellbeing services counties and joint county authorities for wellbeing services operating in Finland.
