Sales inquiry
The sales inquiry collects turnover data monthly from the most significant enterprises in their respective industries. In addition, wage and salary sum data are asked monthly from enterprises divided into kind-of-activity units. In connection with the sales inquiry, quarterly data are collected on increases and decreases of fixed assets in Finland. The sales inquiry covers some 2,000 enterprises and the inquiry on fixed assets around 1,800 enterprises.
The data collected in the sales inquiry are used, for example, to produce business trend statistics on turnover and wages and salaries sums. The data on fixed assets are additionally used in producing preliminary data on quarterly and annual national accounts.
Respond to the inquiry
The data are used to produce statistics describing the trends of turnover and the wages and salaries sum that are needed, e.g. for national decision-making and by various interest groups.
Every response improves the reliability of the data we collect. This way we ensure that the
inquiry results and compiled statistics are of high quality and give a correct picture of the studied subject.

If your enterprise has received an email from us, you can follow the instructions there. It is also possible to answer using a mobile phone or tablet.
