The survey describes households' use of information and communications technology (ICT) and Internet connections. The survey examines how the population uses computers and other equipment, and purposes and frequency of Internet use. A similar survey is carried out in all EU countries.
The survey also includes questions for persons who do not use the Internet.
The results of the survey produce statistics that are available to all of us – and support decisions affecting society.
It is very important that each person selected for the survey participates, as no respondent can be replaced with another respondent. The topic of the survey concerns everyone – whether you are working, unemployed, retired, studying or doing something else.
If you have been selected as a respondent, you have received a user ID and password for the inquiry by letter. Take the identifiers and press the Start responding button above.
If you have received a text message or an email from us, you can also follow the instructions there. More detailed instructions can be found on the response form. There is no need to prepare in advance for responding.

We want to give all those selected to the survey the opportunity to take part. If we have not received your response online and you have not tried to set up a time for an interview, our statistical interviewer will try to reach you.
