Inquiry on materials and supplies of manufacturing production
The inquiry on materials and supplies of manufacturing production collects value data by heading on the main purchases of materials and supplies in manufacturing production (purchases of raw materials, semi-finished products, additives and supplies). The inquiry concerns the enterprise's industrial production in Finland.
The inquiry mainly concerns manufacturing enterprises with at least 20 employees. Significant (sufficiently large) manufacturing establishments of non-manufacturing enterprises are also included in the inquiry. The size of the sample is around 2,000 enterprises.
The data of the inquiry are principally used in national accounts calculations and compilation of other economic statistics.
