Industrial output decreased month-on-month in March 2022 but increased year-on-year

EnterprisesSeasonally adjusted industrial output (TOL BCD) decreased by 1.2 per cent in March from the month before. According to Statistics Finland, industrial output adjusted for working days was 2.6 per cent higher in March 2022 than in March 2021.

- Compared to the previous month, output increased most in mining and quarrying, by 4.1 per cent. The biggest drop, 4.1 per cent, was recorded in the chemical industry.
