Turnover of construction grew by 10.7 per cent in September 2022 from one year ago

The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 3.2 per cent. Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction and the sales volume rose slightly in September compared to August.

Construction industries growing compared to one year ago
Turnover in construction industries grew compared to the previous year. Working day adjusted turnover in building construction grew by 8.6 per cent and sales volume by 2.8 per cent compared to one year before. The turnover of civil engineering adjusted for working days grew by 20.1 per cent and sales volume by 3.8 per cent from the previous year. One reason for the weaker development of sales volume compared to turnover is the higher than usual growth in the prices of civil engineering in September. Turnover in specialised construction activities grew by 9.2 per cent and sales volume grew by 3.3 per cent from one year earlier.
Turnover in construction grew compared to August
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction grew by 0.7 per cent in September compared to August. Seasonally adjusted sales volume rose by 0.2 per cent in September from August.
