Finland’s preliminary population figure was 5,594,384 at the end of September 2023

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population at the end of September 2023 was 5,594,384. During January–September Finland's population increased by 30,414 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad: the number of immigrants was 41,268 higher than that of emigrants. The number of births was 10,817 lower than that of deaths.
