Cubic volume of granted building permits in November 2022 to January 2023 decreased year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building permits for newbuilding were granted for a total of 7.0 million cubic metres between November 2022 and January 2023, which was 14 per cent less than one year ago. At the same time, building projects totalling 6.5 million cubic metres were started. The cubic volume of building projects started decreased by 30 per cent from one year ago.
