release | First registrations of motor vehicles 2023, JulyAccording to Statistics Finland, a total of 6,397 new passenger cars were registered in July 2023, which was 16 per cent more than one year earlier. In all, 10,850 new vehicles were registered in July. First registrations increased by 5 per cent from the corresponding month of the previous year.

- In January to July period of 2023, a total of 53,274 new passenger cars were registered, which was 9 per cent more than one year earlier.
- Of first-time registered passenger cars in July 2023, 27 per cent were fully electric. The number of their registrations was 1,702, nearly doubled from the corresponding month of the previous year.
- Used imported passenger numbered 3,719, which was 5 per cent fewer than one year earlier.
