According to Statistics Finland, the current account was in balance in the fourth quarter of 2022. The value of goods exports in balance of payments terms increased by 12 % year-on-year. The value of goods imports increased by 11 % year-on-year. The balance of goods and services was EUR 0.2 billion in deficit. The primary income account was in surplus. The net international investment position weakened compared to the previous quarter.
