According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the price index of public expenditure rose in central government by 3,8 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared with one year earlier. The price index of local government finances rose by 4,6 per cent and the price index of basic municipal services by 3,9 per cent over the same period.
