According to Statistics Finland, the producer prices of agricultural products fell by 3.3 per cent in the 3rd quarter of 2024 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period. Prices of goods and services consumed in agriculture decreased by 5.1 per cent and agricultural investments increased by 0.3 per cent compared with the previous year’s corresponding period.

  • The price of energy fell by 10.4 per cent in the 3rd quarter of 2024 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period.
  • Prices of animal feeding stuffs went down by 9.3 per cent in the 3rd quarter of 2024 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period.
  • Prices of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment rose by 0.3 per cent in the 3rd quarter of 2024 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period.
  • The fall in the index was sligthly curbed by risen prices of services used by agriculture and more expensive investments in machinery and equipment.
