Large manufacturing enterprises dominate international trade in services

Finland's international trade in services concentrates on large enterprises employing more than 250 persons in the manufacturing industry. In 2022, large manufacturing enterprises formed 40 per cent of service exports and 33 per cent of imports. Their importance for service trade was retained in the examination period starting from 2019. These data derive from Statistics Finland's statistics on international trade in goods and services, where new data are published on services trade by enterprise characteristics.
