Description of the correction
There was an error in the calculation of the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices at Constant Taxes (HICP-CT) for the Consumer Price Index of February and March 2023. The correction concerns the tables Inflation indicators in Finland, February 2023, Inflation indicators in Finland, March 2023, Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices 2015=100 by commodity groups, annual changes (%), 2023 February and Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices 2015=100 by commodity groups, annual changes (%), 2023 March and database table 11xh.
As a result of the correction, the year-on-year change in the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices at Constant Taxes 2015=100 is 8.35 per cent (8.36 per cent) and the year-on-year change in 07 transport is 4.55 per cent (4.56 per cent) in February 2023. In March 2023, the total index point figure in the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices at Constant Taxes 2015=100 is 117.2 (117.3) and the year-on-year change in the division 07 transport is -1.05 per cent (-1.06 per cent).
