Exceptional revision to international trade in goods and services for 2022

Exports of goods and services and imports of services were revised exceptionally much in the release of 20 June 2023 concerning annual data for 2022. The value of exports of goods in 2022 became revised by EUR 1.1 billion, that of exports of services by EUR 0.7 billion and that of imports of services by EUR 0.7 billion compared to the previously released figures. All revisions raised the euro-denominated value of international trade. The revisions also increased Finland's net exports by EUR one billion.

The revisions were mainly caused by revisions to enterprises' income and expense structures as financial statement data were published.
