The previous revision release was unfounded
It was previously stated in the change release that in the August release the value of exports and imports of goods and services was updated for the first quarter of 2023. However, this was not the case.
The data in the June release were correct and the values of exports and imports were not updated in connection with the August database release. The data for the first quarter of 2023 will next be updated as usual in the September release on 18 September 2023.
This means the correction described below can be ignored.

Description of the correction
Data on international trade for the first quarter of 2023 were corrected on 11 August 2023. There was an error in the figures of the June release. The figures became revised as concerns exports and imports of services. Exports of services became revised by EUR 634 million. Imports were revised by EUR 295 million.
