Description of the correction
The number of students has been corrected for the year 2021 in the statistics on students and qualifications. As a result, the data published in the employment statistics regarding employment of students also changed for the year 2021. The corrected number of students is 558,617 (previously 557,639) and the corrected number of employed students is 293,095 (previously 292,710).
In 2021, the employment rate of upper secondary school students increased by 7.5 (previously 7.3) percentage points from the previous year. The employment rate of female students was 55.5% (previously 55.6%). The employment rate of students in generic programmes and qualifications was 32.4% (previously 32.2%).
