Description

These statistics contain data on trade in high technology products between Finland and other countries. Data on foreign trade are compiled by both product group and country of export and import. Comparison data are included from other OECD countries

Data content

Enterprises by level of technology, production of high-technology products, foreign trade in high-technology products in Finland and other OECD countries. The data on individual enterprises may not be disclosed.

Classification describing the technological level of industries (OECD).

Hihg-technology products (OECD).

Data collection methods and data sources

The statistics are compiled from Statistics Finland's structural data on manufacturing enterprises and data provided by the National Board of Customs and the OECD.

Updating frequency

Annually.

Time of completion or release

Autumn of the year following the statistical reference year (data on trade are available for the home page already in spring).

From the end of the 1980s.
