Description

Statutory child day care subsidies are provided in the form of monthly benefits to families. Their purpose is to provide financial support for the day care of children who are under school age or who have just started school. The subsidy is paid in the form of child home care, private day care and partial care allowances. The statistics on child care subsidies offer statistical information about recipient families, eligible children and expenditures in euro. The statistics on the municipal payments supplemental to the child home care and private day care allowances cover the municipalities that have an agreement with Kela concerning the payment of the municipal supplements.
