Serious road traffic accidents by location

Now you can examine road traffic accidents resulting in serious injuries based on location data.

Statistics Finland’s geographic data have already previously offered data on accidents resulting in death or injury. Now accidents resulting in serious injuries have been included for 2014 and 2015.

You can search for traffic accident data in Paikkatietohakemisto (spatial data index) in three languages: in Finnish, Swedish and English.

More information about the service and instruction on how to use the data can be found on Statistics Finland’s Interface services pages (only in Finnish). You can also utilise the data through the interface services directly in your own applications.
