Workshop on Labour Force Survey methodology

The 19th workshop on Labour Force Survey (LFS) methodology is hosted by the Statistics Finland and will take place on the 8 and 9 of June 2026 in Helsinki, Finland.

The workshop is expected to last one and a half day. the opening ceremony will start at 9.30 am on 8 of June and the last session will end 9 of June at 2 pm.

The workshop venue will be in the building of the Pasila Government Office Centre in the Pasila district, immediately north of central Helsinki, next to Pasila railway station, which is the city’s main transport hub.

The 2026 LFS Workshop which is the third of four-cycle of workshops, covering years 2024–2027, is dedicated to Processing and Data Quality.

12 February: Registration and submission of abstracts opens
20 March: Registration as attending as a person and submission of abstracts closes
31 March: Confirmation of proposals and/or participation to be sent to those concerned
17 April, circa: The programme will be published on the website
8 May, circa: Practical information by email for participants
8 May: Registration as remote participant closes, the link will be sent well in advance
15 May: Deadline for authors to submit final versions of their papers
22 May: Deadline for authors to submit final versions of their presentations
