Producer prices of agricultural products rose by 30 per cent in the third quarter of 2022
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, the producer prices of agricultural products rose by 30 per cent from one year ago in the third quarter of 2022. The index of producer prices without fur production rose by 36 per cent. The prices of vegetable products went up by 35 per cent and those of meat and animal products by 28 per cent. The uncertainty prevailing in the grain market and the rise in production costs, particularly in fertilisers, energy and feed prices, were the main reasons for the increase in producer prices.
