Turnover of construction grew by 7.5 per cent in October 2022 from one year ago
According to Statistics Finland, working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises grew by 7.5 per cent in October 2022 compared to the year before. The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 1.2 per cent. Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction and the sales volume decreased slightly in October compared to September.

Construction industries growing compared to one year ago
Turnover in construction industries grew compared to the previous year. Working day adjusted turnover in building construction grew by 6.8 per cent and sales volume by 1.2 per cent compared to one year before. The turnover of civil engineering adjusted for working days grew by 5.9 per cent and sales volume decreased by 7.1 per cent from the previous year. One reason for the weaker development of sales volume compared to turnover is the higher than usual growth in the prices of civil engineering in October. Turnover in specialised construction activities grew by 8.9 per cent and sales volume grew by 3.2 per cent from one year earlier.
Turnover in construction decreased compared to September
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction grew by 0.3 per cent in October compared to September. Seasonally adjusted sales volume rose by 0.7 per cent in October from September.
