Number of trips by train in passenger traffic increased by 58 per cent in the second quarter of 2022

According to Statistics Finland, freight transferred by rail in the second quarter of 2022 was 7.2 million tons, which was 31 % less than in the second quarter of 2021. A total of 19.3 million trips was travelled by rail, which was 58 % more than in the same quarter of 2021.
