Number of trips by train in passenger traffic increased by 36 per cent in the third quarter of 2022

According to Statistics Finland, freight transferred by rail in the third quarter of 2022 was 7,6 million tons, which was 24 % less than in the third quarter of 2021. A total of 20.6 million trips was travelled by rail, which was 36 % more than in the same quarter of 2021.
