The old database tables of the occupational accident statistics are moved to the archive database and new database tables were published in their place due to changes in the estimation method of the Labour Force Survey. Data can also be presented more widely in the new tables.
Read more about the changeAccording to Statistics Finland's data, wage and salary earners' accident frequency decreased in the first corona year. In 2020, the number of wage and salary earners' accidents at work was 9.2 per one million hours worked. This was 9.8 per cent lower than in the year before. The accident incidence rate among wage and salary earners and farmers also decreased in 2020 compared with the previous year.
